Black Bean Dip

Real Food for Real Kids - Black Bean Dip Recipe

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 small white onion – diced
  • ½ green pepper – diced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground coriander seed
  • ½ tsp dry oregano
  • 2 cans black beans
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Preparation:

  1. In a pan, heat the sunflower oil on medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion, pepper, and garlic, cook until soft, and then allow to cool.
  3. Place all ingredients into food processor until smooth, and – voilà – it’s ready!
