We’re excited to announce that, along with other organizations, we’re participating in the CLASP initiative (Coalitions Linking Action & Science for Prevention). We’re working together to nourish school communities and change the way students think about and eat food, by creating healthy food environments.
As part as this initiative, the Heart and Stroke Foundation™ has certified RFRK’s April & May 2014 Elementary School Lunch Menus.
Each of the Health Check™ menu items have been reviewed by Heart and Stroke Foundation’s™ registered dietitians and meet the program’s nutrient criteria. This is on top of all the hard work and diligence we always put into sourcing great ingredients and creating dishes made from scratch and free of highly processed foods and artificial flavours & colours.
