Meet Jean-Charles Dupoire, who joined Real Food For Real Kids in September 2025.
What do you do at Real Food for Real Kids?
I am the Senior Operations Manager supporting the Production, Packaging, Production Planning, and Maintenance Managers in their roles, ensuring that as a team we remain focused on our customers and our employees.
What are some of the challenges you face?
As everyone knows, space constraints are our main challenge; however, the addition of the new building will significantly improve the situation.
What part of the job do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy the people at RFRK the most; there’s a shared mindset of doing our best every day. The overall organization across each department is strong, with clear structure and great collaboration. And of course we are serving everyday!
If you had to describe yourself as a meal or dish, what would you be?
That’s a difficult question because I really like all kinds of food from every culture so I will go back to my home cooking and choose a dish that my family used to cook all together in the summer called “Bouillabaisse” it’s a traditional dish from Provence in France with a variety of fresh Mediterranean seafood served in a very flavour full broth.
I like seafood for all the different products you can have and their various flavour.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to stop all wars and ensure that every child in the world has equal access to food and education.
What’s your favourite RFRK meal or recipe & why?
I like them all 😀. I would go with the Sri-Lankan chicken, I like all the flavours and texture of that dish. So good with rice or quinoa.
What are some activities you enjoy outside of work?
Spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, watching all kinds of documentaries, spending time in nature, hiking, cycling, swimming pretty much every sport.
