We’re excited to introduce our new Cinnamon & Chia Oatmeal from Goldy’s to the menu. It’s custom-made for RFRK with gluten-free oats, and it comes with a pretty neat story. 👀
Goldy’s stellar claim to fame? One of their cereals has been to space! 🚀
It all started when the Canadian Space Agency reached out to Goldy’s with an email that was almost dismissed as spam. Soon, their products were shipped to CSA headquarters and NASA facilities in Houston & Cape Canaveral, where they underwent nearly a year of testing to meet the demands of space travel.
The highlight? Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen selected a flavour of Goldy’s oatmeal to bring on the Artemis II mission. And as a bonus, Goldy’s is currently helping fuel astronauts on the International Space Station. ✨
We’ve partnered with Goldy’s so now kids can enjoy a similar astronaut-approved oatmeal on our menu. 🥣 🚀
This Toronto-based company was created by two Canadian dads (and best friends since Grade 3), and built around three simple principles:
