What do you do at Real Food for Real Kids?
As the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and Accounting, my role is to lead Finance at RFRK.
What are some of the challenges you face?
The company is like a giant puzzle with many pieces and the biggest challenge in my role is figuring out how all the pieces fit together. When one piece changes, I need to recommend which other piece has to change so the whole puzzle stays together.
What part of the job do you enjoy the most?
The best part of my role is supporting everyone else. I love to be the person that you can rely on for advice and to help you in accomplishing your goal.
If you had to describe yourself as a meal or dish, what would you be?
I would be the sauce in a stew! I bring all the ingredients together for best flavour and support the eater by making the meal easier to eat.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Language. I want to be able to communicate in every human language, and to communicate with any sentient species would be the utmost form of the superpower!
What’s your favourite RFRK meal or recipe & why?
Tough question! If I have to choose just one, I guess I’ll choose the Trinidadian Curry Beef because I like flavourful stews and love well cooked beef. But there are many great RFRK meals!
What are some activities you enjoy outside of work?
I love fantasy: to read, watch, and play. I also like to travel, and of course, eat good food!
