🌶️ 🔥 Some of the RFRK team turned up the heat yesterday with our Hot Sauce Lunch & Learn! There was homemade hot sauce and lots of extra peppers for tasting, climbing the Scoville scale one bite at a time. What a fun & fiery way to spend some time together as a team!
❤️ Don’t worry, it was just for the grownups, the little ones’ tastebuds are totally safe!

🌍 Fun fact: the peppers we sampled brought flavours from all over the world:
Shishito — often associated with Japanese cooking.
Poblano — Tex-Mex favourite.
Crimson — sometimes called shombo peppers in parts of Africa.
Jalapeño — Mexican classic.
Hungarian Yellow — Bright and zesty.
Portuguese Long Hot — Flavourful with a slow burn.
Serrano — From the mountainous regions of Mexico.
Thai Bird — Tiny but mighty from Thailand.
Wiri Wiri — Small but punchy, from Guyana.
Scotch Bonnet — beloved across the Caribbean, especially the Dominican Republic.
