To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we’re returning with our First Love Campaign to highlight why falling in love with veggies can do wonders for kids and their well being.

When veggies take the lead on the plate, kids tend to eat more of them and find them more enjoyable!
To make this month of love for fruit & veggies even more fun, we’ve created a “veggies first” menu for Valentine’s Day lunch at our centres. You can display it like at a restaurant and encourage kids to eat their salad first like an appetizer.
We’ve also compiled a few Valentine’s Day activity pages you to share with kids. These include our:
- Downloadable Valentine’s cards
- A fun veggie-focused scavenger hunt
- A fruit & veg colouring page
- A make your own plate activity
- A match-up game
Next week, we’ll share some more tips & tricks on how to get kids to fall in love with their veggies (and reignite your love for them too)! Don’t forget to tag us @realfoodforrealkids when you try these activities, we’d love to see it!
