When we set out to develop our Mac’n Cheese, we knew it had to be more than just comfort food—it had to stand out from the crowd and deliver on both nutrition & flavour.
our secret weapons?
- Carrots! By blending puréed carrots into the cheese sauce, we’ve cranked up the vibrant, orange colour 100% naturally, not to mention the wholesome goodness root veggies provide.
- Nutritional yeast! It adds a rich, umami taste without extra sodium and pairs perfectly with your cheddar of choice.
- Real cheese! No emulsifiers or extenders here, just pure, ooey gooey cheese from our partners at Jensen Cheese.
We had a feeling our Mac’n Cheese would be just grate, and we were right! It’s famous amongst both the kids we serve and everyone on the RFRK team.
