When we were applauding frontline workers at 7:30 each evening, who were we thinking of? For many of us, the first people who came to mind were healthcare providers, grocery store workers and delivery people. We are so grateful for their efforts in continuing to provide essential services during a time of so much uncertainty. We also want to take the opportunity to celebrate the people that enabled many of these heroes to go work, providing a safe place for their young children while parents did their duties.
Early Childhood Educators are true champions. While many teachers are modifying lessons for remote classes (no easy feat!), ECE’s remain on the frontlines to provide in-person education and support while continuing to adapt to the ever-evolving requirements to keep everyone healthy and safe. If that wasn’t already enough, they’re also ensuring each child gets a nutritious, balanced meal.
Now we want to show ECE’s how much we appreciate them and remind them it’s important to take care of themselves too!
