We couldn’t celebrate Local Food Week without giving major props to one of our newest local snack producers, Ontario-owned small business Peacasa! Offering chips with chickpeas as the #1 ingredient is what makes Peacasa so special.
After wowing crowds at local farmers markets, the awesome local visionaries behind these yummy snacks wanted to make sure everyone got to try them. They were told they couldn’t produce enough chips without rice, potatoes or corn, then proved the naysayers wrong and opened their own manufacturing plant!
From there, the Mediterranean-inspired Peacasa Chickpea Chips took off and are now being sold across Canada!
These chick-tastic snacks are also made with minimal, wholesome ingredients & they’re vegan-friendly & gluten-free to boot! We’re so happy to work with Peacasa so all the kids can crunch away at snack time.
