step into our first home!
Our kitchens have gotten bigger & better over the years, making our mission to enable & inspire a lifetime of healthy eating easier with each development. From humble beginnings to our current kitchen, it warms our hearts to reflect on how it all began.
David & Lulu started whipping up amazing recipes in their very own home. They then transitioned to a shared kitchen at a local restaurant, preparing delicious food late at night when it was closed. Talk about dedication!
Then came the very first ‘real’ full-fledged RFRK facility on Bloor West! Opening in 2005 and operating until 2009, this space laid the groundwork for where we are today. It was a major accomplishment to gain access to our own kitchen that we had 100% creative control over, but we could also make magic happen in our first office space. Our daily operations became more organized with the addition of storage space, shipping & receiving areas, and more!
Some of our longest lasting team members also joined RFRK at this time, like Yogan & Kristen, and we’re so happy they’re still key players in our team today!
